	Photo Gallery First Due Residential Fire with Smoke Showing - Unit BLK of Simonds Drive (Simonds Gardens) Saturday, August 18, 2012 The communications center alerted Stations 20, Engine 22, Ladder 18, Engine 32 and 28-6 for a residential fire. 20-5 made the response with a crew of 4 under command of Deputy Chief Willis. While responding, fire board advised that an officer from 22 was on scene and reported smoke showing. 20-5 arrived as the first due engine and carried out the assignment with bringing in their own water supply and running a 1" 3/4 line to the front door to begin fire attack. Once crew advanced their line through the colliers mansion conditions, fire was quickly knocked. All other units assited with Search, ventilation, salvage and overhaul. Situation was placed under control and 20 units worked for a little over 2 hours due to the extensive overhaul. Deputy Chief Willis had the Simonds Gardens Command. Views: 57 Views: 43
