Scrap yard burns again - 4100 BLK of New Castle Ave (American Scrap Yard)

The communications center alerted Station 20 for a outside fire. After Dispatch, 22-9B was on scene and requested the assignment be upgraded to a building response. 20-5 made the response under command of FF/EMT Logan, with a crew of 3. Deputy Chief Willis arrived and established the American Scrap Yard Command. The upgrade brought Engine 22, Ladder 18, Rescue & Engine 28/32. Squrt 20 made the response under Command of FF Mason with a crew of 4. WFD Battalion 2 and 9 were on scene and requested WFD Engine 2 to respond. Command then requested to add a RIT company to respond due to fire extension into the building. This request brought Station 13 for the RIT. All units operated for about 2 hours and extiguished the blaze. Situation was placed under control authority of Command and all units assisted with getting each other back to service.
Deputy Chief Willis had the American Scrap Yard Command.
Units on scene: Deputy 20, 20-5, Squrt 20, 22-2, Ladder 18, 28-6, 32-4, Rescue 13, WFD Engine 2, WFD Battalion 2 & 9 and DSFMO.
