Multiple vehicles on fire (Scrap Yard) - 4100 BLK of New Castle Ave

The communications center alerted Station 20 for a vehicle fire. 20-5 made the response with a crew of 4 under command of Assistant Chief Maxwell. Fire board the advised that Lieutenant 22 was on scene reporting multiple vehicles involved and that 20-5 bring in a supply line. With this report, 20-5 officer requested fire board to start the next due Engine to respond. 20-5 arrived and secured a water supply and found conditions as reported and established the Holloway Terrace Command. Squrt 20 made the response with a crew of 4 under command of Assistant Chief Snyder. 20-5's crew placed 2 1" 3/4 lines in service and began fire attack on the vehicles. 22-2 made the response and was assisgned to back up 20-5's crew. Squrt 20 arrived and was positioned for aerial operations and was placed in service. Command the requested another Engine to the scene and Station 18 was alerted. Rescue 18 made the response and was assigned to the Charlie Side of the yard to check for any fire extension and to set up master stream. 18-8B (Robinson) reported that there was no extensions to the building on the Charlie Side and requested to add a ladder company to the response. Request was made to fireboard by Command and Ladder 28 and Engine 32-4 was added to the incident and made the response. Ladder 28 was assigned to stage in the front parking lot and Engine 32 was assigned to assist Rescue 18 with master stream operations. 22-3 then made the response and was assigned to the hydrant to boost the pressure to 20-5. After a couple hours, Command placed situation uder control with all units committed. All units assisted with putting each other back to service and all units cleared the scene shortly after.
