AFA Results in Building Response - Unit Block of Dockview Dr.

Station 20 was alerted for a commercial fire alarm that was reported as a water flow alarm. 20-5 made a quick response (20-5 was the Eastside Duty Engine for the night) under command of FF Mike Emmell with a crew of 4. On arrival, 20-5's Officer (Emmell) reported to fire board that there was an active fire inside and requested the L3 building response. This report brought Engine 22, Ladder 18, Rescue 28 (28-6) and Engine 32. 20-8 arrived on scene minutes later and assumed the "Doc View Dr" Command. 20-5's crew stretched 1 3/4 line inside and made a quick agressive knock down of the fire. All other units assisted with search, ventilation, salvage and overhaul. Stituation was placed under control by Command and assignment was held to Station 20 units for the mop up.
