Chemical Fire - 6100 Philadelphia Pike

Claymont along with R11, E25, L68, R39, E40, E66 and RIT 20 were dispatched for the Chemical fire at the Honeywell Plant. 138B (Haley) arrived to find an active vapor fed chemical fire within a building and established the "Claymont Command". As units arrived they went to work shutting down feeds to the fire and began to set up foaming operations and Squrt 20's crew established the side (A) RIT responsibilities. Foam and dry chemical extinguishers were utilzed to extinguish the fire. Personnel that entered the building were led to decon. No injuries were reported. Incident was placed under control at 1327 by command.
