House Fire - Atlas Dr. Collins Park

At 0011 hours the Emergency Communications alerted Station 20, Engine 22, Engine and Ladder 28 & 32, Rescue 18, RIT 13, BLS B-17, and ALS Medic 1 for a report of a house fire on Atlas Dr. in the development of Collins Park.
Deputy Chief Mark Willis arrived at 0015 hours reporting a 2 story residential dwelling with heavy fire through out and established Collins Park Command. Command confirmed with neighbors that the house was vacant due to renovations presently being done. Engine 20-5 and Engine 22-2 went arrival within a minute of each. A total of 4 attack lines were placed in service and an exterior attack was performed. Additional units arrived for the assist and to perform various tasks on the fire ground.
The house sustained major damage and caused heat damage to an adjacent structure. There were no injuries.
Command placed the scene under control at 0046 hours holding all units. All units were clear the scene at 0321 hours. The Delaware State Fire Marshalls office is investigating the cause.
