	Photo Gallery Fisherman Missing in the Christina River - Christina River, Newport, DE Thursday, November 22, 2007 At 1508 hours the New Castle County Communications Center alerted Station 23 for a person overboard in the Christiana River in the area of Banning Park. Marine units from Station 23, Station 20, Station 18, the NCC Dive Team, and Wilmington Fire responded as well as NCC Paramedics, A-16, DSP Trooper 4, and other state and local law enforcement agencies. Units searched the area for the missing boater until the divers could be transported to the incident location for an underwater search. Divers entered the water and battled strong currents while attempting to make a search. With the strong current and weather changes the incident commander suspended the search until morning.
