At 0008hrs on 2/11/2017, Station 20 was alerted to an MVC with a report of a vehicle into a structure.
A-20 was the first arriving unit and was informed that a vehicle had struck the trailer park home from beyond the fence that divided the property between the trailer park and the adjacent commercial property.
Rescue 20's crew found damage to an oil tank, located in between the fence and the trailer, with damage to the tank and oil leaking from the tank.
Command 20, Aj Riccio Jr, confirmed tire tracks in the dirt and damage to the fence from the commercial property side.
It could not be immediately determined if the tank was leaking since the tank was so close to the ground, but the decision was made to have the tank emptied.
Haz Mat 30 responded and removed over 100 gallons of fuel oil from the tank.
Damage to the trailer was minimal and the residents were able to return to their home.
