The communications center alerted station(s) 22, Engine 20, Ladder & Engine 28/32 and Rescue 18 for a residential fire. Squrt 20 made the response under command of Assistant Chief Snyder with a crew of 4. Rescue 20 also made the response under command of Chief Maxwell with a crew of 6. 22-8 arrived to find a single story SFD with heavy smoke showing from side Alfa. This report brought R-23 for the RIT, BLS, ALS and DSFMO. Squrt 20 arrived and pulled the 2nd handline to back up the initial hose team. We found that the bedroom was off and had extensions to the hallway and bathroom. Hose teams knocked down the fire with no other extensions found. Squrt 20 and Recsue 20's crews then assisted with overhaul and packing up hose. Situation was placed under control authority of Dunleith Command. 20 units operated for about an hour and a half before being placed back to service. 22-8 (G. Lambert) had the Dunleith Command.
