	Photo Gallery Fuel leak - WAWA - RTE 13/Memorial Dr Monday, October 17, 2011 The communications center alert Stations 22 and duty Engine 20 for a small fuel spill. Duty Chief and Duty Engine 20-8C (B. Maxwell) and 20-5 made the response. 20-5 was under command of Captain Fontello with a crew of 4. Both units arrived to find a fuel pump that was struck and was leaking gasoline. WAWA employees advised that they had already hit the emergency shut off for the gas pumps. Where the pipe was leaking under ground, we they were unable to contain the leak. 20-8C requested Hazmat 30 and DNREC to respond to the scene. Hazmat 30 was able to contain the leak and remove of approximately 15+ gallons of fuel out of the trap. Situation was placed under control shortly after and scene was turned over to DNREC. 20-8C (B.Maxwell) had the command. Views: 184 Views: 166 Views: 168 Views: 149
