The communications center alerted Station 20, Engine 22, Ladder & Engine 18, Rescue & Engine 28/32, RIT 13, Salem County Tower/Engine 7, ALS24, Medic 1 and A-23 for a working house fire. 20-5 made the response under command of Chief Maxwell with a crew of 5. 20-8C arrived and reported a 1 1/2 story SFD with Smoke Showing and took the Holloway Terrace Command. 20-5 arrived and secured their own water supply and pulled 1" 3/4 to the front door and began to attack the fire. Squrt 20 made the response under command of FF/EMT Maxwell Jr with a crew of 3. Squrt 20's crew was assiged the roof division to open up. 20-5's crew made quick aggressive attack and quickly knocked down the fire holding it to just two rooms with minor extension. Situation was placed under control and units worked for a little over an hour before being placed back to service. Assistant Chief Maxwell had the Hollway Terrace Command.
