At 0242 hours this morning, Holloway Terrace (20) was dispatched to a working structure fire, with a report of subjects trapped. Included in the initial dispatch were Good Will (18) Minquadale (22) and Wilmington Manor (28 & 32). Minquas of Newport (23) and Medic 1 (NCCEMS) were alerted for the EMS coverage and Deepwater, NJ (7) was added as the RIT. Arriving units were advised and confirmed a working alarm. NCC Fireboard advised that there were reports of several subjects trapped. First due 20-5 arrived on location and reported fire showing from multiple windows on both levels of the structure. Three 1.5" lines were pulled and placed into service from the front and rear. One subject was found to have escaped, but one subject was still missing and later found deceased. Other units responding were Rescue 13 (Claymont), Ladder 11 (Brandywine Hundred), Ladder 17 (Five Points), DE State Fire Marshall’s Office (Arson 1), and New Castle County Police.
